Following the initial success of Simon Stewart's debut album "Across the Land", we've decided to re-release it in January.

It means we can give the album some well deserved extra promotional push. We'll publish a release date on this site as soon as we know - and the withdrawal period will be as brief as possible. In the meantime you can still buy copies of the album and downloads of each track from this site.

Simon's song "Oh My Love" was voted No.2 in the Mojo Magazine Readers' Playlist and there'll be a review in the next issue of Rock 'n' Reel Magazine. If you want to hear Simon live get along to Richard Durrant's Airport Club at Ropetackle Arts Centre in Shoreham, Sussex on the second Friday of each month.

Simon Stewart's remarkable debut album "Across the Land" is now out on general release. You should be able to track it down in most British record shops (those that haven't been closed down by the monopolising, cultural fascist, character crushing supermarkets). Simon's beautiful, folky songs are certainly already spread around the internet (i-tunes etc or from this site as download or CD).

To mark the release we've been upgrading the LongMan downloads to a nice clear 256kbps. Simon's is the first album to be digitised in this way. This means that the quality of the mastering isn't too compromised by this lossy format we've all grown acustomed to. The other LongMan album tracks will follow....

Simon Stewart's debut album "Across the Land" is now at the factory being pressed.  The mastering session took place last week at SRT in Camridgeshire. Engineer Ian Shepherd has succeeded in milking even more depth and beauty out of this remarkable album.
