There is now a special Charity Download Section in the LongMan Records shop (click here).  The proceeds from every sale will go towards the Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice in Sussex, England.

The tracks featured include Heather Cairncross's beautiful version of Mark Allen's Christmas song "You're Never Alone" and The Hailing Stones EP recordings from three years ago. These are available here in digital format for the first time.

LongMan Records and the collaborative "Ukulele Rebels" have decided to release easily the catchiest electro-pop, ukulele rap single ever made.

Guest vocalist "Cloth Man" appears on this tour de force which has a sort of "Gary Numan & George Formby share a giant spliff with Bob Marley's grandfather in a cosmetic surgeon's jacuzi" type vibe.

The section currently contains Richard's wonderful version of Steve Reich's Electric Counterpoint and will be growing over the coming weeks to include all current album tracks as well as new recordings and archive material from the past twenty years.

There are now only a handfull of tickets left for Richard's Christmas Guitar Concert in Wilmington, Sussex (Friday December 8th, doors 7.30pm, music 8pm). click here to get tickets while there are still some available. The concert will include the usual exotic classical repertoire and DADGAD fingerpickings along with some seasonal music.

This beautiful Sussex village was Richard's home for three years, when he lived in the 11th century Benedictine Priory of Wilmington. The priory is at the feet of the mysterious long man of Wilmington who provided the inspiration for the setting up of LongMan Records back in the early 1990's.
